A
five-storeyed 16th-century keep overlooking the Howe of Fife and
situated a mile to the north-west of Craigrothrie in E central

During the early 17th century it was occupied by Sir John Scott

The Staggering State of Scots Statesmen. The tower was
abandoned in 1696.
